Monday, March 25
From baby birds in the forest to sprouts coming up from the ground, we’ll explore all things cute and little today! We will look and listen for signs of animals in the forest and go on a baby plant scavenger hunt as well as spend some time gardening, seeing what may be ready to harvest and planting some seeds to take home. We will get to know the animals on the farm, build our own bird nests, and play games too!
Tuesday, March 26
Unleash your wild and wacky creative side! We will use natural items to create beautiful art. From paint to clay, feathers to wool, we will explore a variety of mediums while drawing inspiration from the forest and farm around us. We gather supplies and play games along the trails, visit the animals to see where our wool comes from and end the day with an art to show to admire each others’ beautiful work!
Wednesday, March 27
Springtime Forest Feast
Let’s take advantage of all the yummy things the forest and farm offer! We will forage for springtime wild edibles, make vegetable soup, grind our own grain for outdoor baking, brew tea with forest plants and finish the day with something sweet. In between the stirring, kneading, and measuring, we will feed the farm animals, go on a forest adventure, create some art, and even make a treat for the wild birds.
Thursday, March 28
Water and Fire
We will explore all the wet and wild places as well as bring fire to life during this fun-filled day. We will visit puddles, marshy areas, seasonal and year-round creeks and then practice fire safety and build our own campfire. Maybe we’ll even roast marshmallows! We will create some art inspired by these two important elements, spend plenty of time with the farm animals, and cozy up inside for stories and games.
Friday, March 29
